Sandblast takes advantage of its' location on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico at Coquina Beach on Anna Maria Island, where a sand sculpture competition raises funds to support Keep Manatee Beautiful's programs. Learn the “Tips, Tricks and Techniques” of sand sculpture at free clinics taught by master sculptors Team Sandtastic at sunset on Thursday November 6 and Friday, November 7, while the competition is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014. “America Recycles Day at SandBlast”

Scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy Symphony on the Sand, an elegant evening on our picturesque and unspoiled Coquina Beach. Enjoy a "toes in the sand" dining experience featuring great small plates from local restaurants, drink, and three hours of wonderful music provided by the Island’s own 45-piece orchestra, the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Alfred Gershfeld.
